~ 316 L (+S) 1.4427 So is available in stock as bars/rods. Chronifer Special KL, Chrome-Nickel-Molybdenium-Steel, not hardenable. Austenitic stainless steel with improved machining properties due to the content of Sulfur (S). This high quality steel is mainly designed for watch parts. Its corrosion resistance is higher than the standard Aisi 303. The Chronifer Special KL is a good compromise between machinability and corrosion resistance. Compared to our Aisi 316L Decolletage, it has less copper content (max. 0.6% considered as traces).
