Law 100 X® 1.1268 micro melt
The latest generation watch material without lead
Are you looking for a material that is perfect for manufacturing fine precision parts for the watch industry and its instruments?
The hardenable watch steel was developed in co-operation with Carpenter Technology Corporation, USA. The watch material has an extremely fine microstructure (micro melt technology). It is therefore also compliant with today’s REACH and ROHS directives.
The powder metallurgy technique used in the production of lead-free LAW 100 X carbon steel represents a quantum leap in the production of high-quality parts for the precision industry.
Due to its very fine structure, you save valuable time when polishing and gain surface quality. Another advantage of this material is its very good reproducibility between different batches.
Due to its low wear, it is ideally suited for parts that are constantly in motion and therefore highly qualified for use in the watch industry. Here, watch movement parts such as gears, pinions, axles, bridges and plates are made from this material.
